Indonesian Journal of Agribusiness Management and Economic Sciences (IJAMES) is committed to upholding academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all submitted manuscripts. Every submission undergoes a strict plagiarism screening process prior to peer review.

All manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin or equivalent systems to identify potential overlap with previously published works.


Similarity Threshold

  • Manuscripts must have a similarity index below 20%.
  • A maximum of 5% similarity from a single source is allowed.
  • References, quotations, and properly cited materials are excluded from similarity evaluation where applicable.

Policy on Plagiarism

IJAMES strictly prohibits:

  • Direct plagiarism: copying text without proper citation
  • Self-plagiarism: reusing previously published work without disclosure
  • Mosaic plagiarism: paraphrasing without proper attribution
  • Data plagiarism: using data without permission or acknowledgment

Editorial Actions

  • Manuscripts exceeding the similarity threshold will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity.
  • If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted, and the authors’ institutions may be notified.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the originality of their work
  • Properly citing all sources
  • Using quotation marks where necessary
  • Submitting plagiarism-free manuscripts
